Baked Apples

I think sometimes we over think food. It doesn’t always have to be fancy, there doesn’t have to be hundreds of different ingredients, and the recipe doesn’t have to be difficult. Sometimes the simple recipes are my favourite, as they let the true flavour of the food shine through. This recipe is one of those.

Baked Cinnamon Apples


4 Apples
1-1.5 Tbsp Cinnamon

Preheat oven to approx. 180 degrees
Cut 4 apples into 12 wedges each.
Place in a baking dish
Sprinkle cinnamon over the apples and mix through evenly.
Baked for 20 -30 mins or golden edges and cooked through.

It really is that easy! There’s no hidden 10 page how-to, you just cut, sprinkle and bake! But the flavour is worth that small amount of effort.
